Xbox 360 Arcade or...?
For christmas i'm getting myself another xbox 360 so that i can play online with my boyfriend at the same time...we already have a halo edition 360 but want to play COD4 at the same time. Sooo my question is, since the xbox i'm about to get will just be a "secondary" system and won't really be used to download extras (gamer pix or demos, etc) should i just get the Arcade version? This system will be only for online use. The arcade version is currently $199 and even though there is a system available for $249 i can't seem to find it anywhere so the next option price-wise is $299....didn't really want to spend THAT much.....and i can always purchase a hard drive for my Arcade version...so which one should i settle with???
We both have our own xbox live gold yearly memberships. so it's just a matter of how much space i'll need to be online

the first answer is wrong. The $199 version is the arcade version with a 256MB hard drive. the $299 version is the 60gig pro. My recommendation would be to get the arcade since that is enough space to play a few games and put some saves on there. Plus xbox just released the 60 gig starter kits which come with the hardrive, a headset, and a month worth of live. And they run for $100. That would be what I would do.

well if you do buy the arcade to put xbox live takes about 100 mb with about 164 mb left to save games somewhere around there, then the xbox live account card and a mic to talk which is another $20

the pro 360 with 60gb went down to 199 at any store it was for the xmas coming up good luck
