It already is. The first two books contradict each other, how could the rest be any better?

Odd how so many have answered that they believe because of Pascal's Wager (if it is a novel, then I have lost nothing), yet if asked if this is why they are Christian, "just in case it's true" it's denied. Sure, there are some historic events included in it, that's what makes a novel interesting and makes a reader wonder.

I think you need to ask this question rather than the other What if its true? there is more wisdom and knowledge in the Holy bible than all the books in this world could produce since the beginning. Because it has been since the beginning In it is all you ever need to know about this world and the world to come

its not. why would thousands of prophecies be fufilled that still take place today?
tons of historic REAL people put together the bible over thousands of years...and it all agrees with the same thing. that's incredibly impossible if the writers were writing about their view.
everytime i open my bible i find something that has been going on in my life.
if people exaggerated there would be alot of different points of views.

Then I have gained nothing and I have lost nothing....
But it's a slim chance that what you are suggesting is even remotely true... as there is much evidence that at the very least the people in the Bible have lived...
An article about evidence of King David existing may have been found: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleea...

The Bible has stood the test of time. Archeological findings verify its authenticity. But more importantly, for the Christian who has been given the Holy Spirit (something which will know nothing about), the Bible is a LIVING Bible for the Holy Spirit guides us and speaks to us through the Bible, informing us of things to come so that we can be prepared and also for our faith to strengthen in the Lord.
I hv absolutely NO DOUBT that the Bible is God's word. No theories in the Bible..but many in your science books.

it might be im christian, and the way the bible is written i personally think, that some things are written a certain way and has these extremely unbelievable things going on, maybe it was just an expression, and the meaning changed over time so basically society just changed the meaning of the bible and we lost the main moral of it all

THE BIBLE AS A PRESERVED BOOK....It's here to stay!
"Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away." Mark 13:31 (KJV)
"The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever." (Isaiah 40:8).
Thy Word Is Truth
. . . yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, . . . Romans 3:4
"Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth." John 17:17 (KJV)

Then my, along with many others' lives, would be empty shells. I believe God is real, and the Bible is truth with all my heart. I know it is real, because God has shown me miracles that no coincidence could explain. He has saved me from deep sorrow, and I'm proud to be a Christ Follower. Jesus is the reason for the season!

Then we have pursued a Santa Claus belief. We have lost nothing. But what if the best parts that really mean something are true, we have gained all we will need for the future.
