If your child has ever been given nitrous oxide?
did it give them a bloody nose? My daughter had to be given nitrous oxide to have some dental work done and afterwards she got a really bad bloody nose. The dentist was sure it was not because of the nitrous oxide, but my daughter has never had a bloody nose before so its hard for me to believe that. I know that a bloody nose isnt the end of the world, but it was a really really bad one. My daughter is 3 by the way. Has anyone else had a bad experience with nitrous oxide?

Sometimes the air blowing through can dry out the nose. A dry nose will bleed easily. I would assume that she also had regular oxygen going during the proceedure. Up the humidity in your house for the next day or so or use a plain saline nose spray on her.

My daughter has never had it but I have when I had my wisdom teeth cut out, I also had a bloody nose and I had never had a nosebleed before that, they also put me under and after I woke up I started throwing up, but I am sure that is because I wasn't allowed to eat all day that day.
