Help! Major in Forensics?

I'm doing Biology for A levels, but I'm not doing Chemistry at A levels. I did it for my O levels... I'm interested in forensics. How much of forensics requires chemistry? Can someone help me understand more about forensics itself? How can I get into this field? Just how much aspects are involved in forensics? How long does it take? any help will be greatly appreciated =)

Chemistry has a lot to do with Forensics and also physics. Forensics is pretty much answering questions about how or why something happened pertaining to the law, especially crime scenes. I would say get a BS in Chemistry and then pursue Forensics, there are a lot of schools out there. Just Google it and see if there are any specialties that you may want to pursue, good luck
