Trudging through the icy slush
urge myself to rush, rush,rush.
These clients want to try my wares,
should I show them, should I dare?
Not Beaujolais, and not Merlot,
it's straight to Hundred Proof I go,
I'll pour a little, just a tot
they'll like this stuff,
yes, quite a lot.
We'll toast the season,
yes we will,
then I will move in,
for the kill.

You do know how to sell! Wine gets them sleepy, 100 proof loosens pocketbooks. A 'varietal' like Long Island gets what? lol Good poem.
