I pray that God's healing anointing would be activated in you to affect every fiber of your being and bring you to perfect health.

    Romans 8:11

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.

There is a nasty cough going around in the North East US. I suppose this is what you have.

My wife and I both had it and different things worked for us.

I took supplements to boost my glutathione but they did little for me.

First zinc lozenges. Follow the package insert.

Next we used Benadry and Sudafed, following package insert. The relief was short term.

Next my wife took an allergy lozenge that was all natural (sorry this is from a clinical trial from a hospital I used to work at an is not on the market.) It worked wonders for her. It only lasted 4 hours and then she had to take it again. A few days of this and hers was over after a month.

    Not the same for me.

Next I tried water that was very alkaline. I do public speaking. Coughing is my enemy. Well, this gave me a four hour period free of coughing. Slept good and did not cough early in the morning.

    But still had a cough.

Next I changed my routine. If I take vitamins, I take them in the morning. So instead, I started taking them again only in the evening.

A multi, calcium, an Omega 3, and Milk Thistle (to boost glutathione) and vitamin C. This did the trick. My nose was dried out and somewhat irritated but look ma, no more cough for the past several days.

Oops, I forgot to take my vitamins last night but still no cough.

Bottom line, you will have to try to find out what works for you.

    Cheers,

    Good health to you.

Surcrets are a good throat "cough drop" that really soothes your throat which suppresses the coughing. Try drinking some juices that are high in vitamins because that can help boost your immune system which helps you get over your cold sooner.

Get alot of rest. Also, when you are not drinking the juices, keep your body hydrated with water.

Cepacal throat lozenges they contain an anesthetic to soothe the pain http://www.cepacol.com/products/lozenges/index.asp comes in spray too. Do you know what I just love to do?, I boil one pack of cinnamon sticks in a small pan of water, (about 8 cups) with one sliced lemon boiled in it too, bring to a boil for five minutes then pour a cup of the tea and sweeten with 2 teaspoons of dark honey, it also soothes the throat and stops the coughing, I can just drink the stuff all day, each time the cough comes back, Delicious too. http://www.corascreations.com/cinnamonsticks.html

    NEWEST news available says that

Vicks VapoRub applied to the feet

    (then put socks on)

    will relieve a cough overnight.

Even Snopes hasn't been able to say it is wrong.

    They look up origins.

Perhaps there needs to be more studies.

    GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS!
