What are some good Canadian movies that weren't released in the U.S.?

I really like foreign cinema - in particular French and English cinema, and was wondering if there were any good Canadian flicks that haven't made their way into the U.S. in general release.

    There's a really good one called The Red Violin.

    It has Samuel L. Jackson in it, but it's not his usual type of role.

    I don't know about US release but I liked this:

    Lucky girl (2001) about gambling addiction

    and

    Owning Mahowny(2003), which has the same topic

    I think the role of Samuel Jackson in Red violin is minor
