A question about hibiscus?
I just bought a hibiscus--I learned that they need sun, but all I really have is a south-facing window. I am sure that is okay during the winter months, but in the summer, could I put it under lights? Or can I skip the natural sun, and keep it under artificial lights all year round?

if it doesn't get enough quality light it will not bloom

do you have a tropical hibiscus or a hardy one? if tropical, just stick it outside in the summer. a hardy one should be planted in the ground.

well they do not need direct sun, and there are many different cultivars of hibiscus, do you know the botanical name of yours
