Is it wrong that I don't want to go to Christmas parties?
I'm getting so tired of them. It's come to the point where I just want the holidays to be over so I don't have to go to "fake" Christmas parties anymore and I can get back to just hanging out and being real.
Oh, and as for the whole Jesus's birth thing, I do honor that and Him every day all year, but I just don't feel like Christmas parties have alot of that going on.
I don't have a problem with the holidays, I'm just tired of the parties.

I feel much the same way as you do and hadn't been to one in a very long time until just last week.
Thankfully it was a mature crowd of 25-30 people.
I did enjoy myself and hovered around the food a lot!

Jesus' birth has nothing to do with Christmas parties. That shouldn't be a deciding factor. A Christmas party is just social events. An excuse for people to get together and enjoy themselves. If you're going to be phony at a Christmas party be phony at all parties. Just don't go.

You are wise. Christmas is a Pagan Holiday and we are not to mix pagan holidays with christianity. We are also not to observe the traditions of men.
Good for you!
(Oh, but I would take the santa hat off of your avatar. Santa is a big Lie...just switch the last three letters around and you get Satan.)

Of course it's okay that you don't want to go to Christmas parties! If you just don't like them, whoever is throwing them will hopefully understand that you just don't really like the holidays.

Not bad, not wrong, not horrible at all.
You know what would make a great party? A worship service with different preachers, several, all preaching the same topic-the birth of Christ, and what it means.

No it's not wrong at all, I don't go either. Last nite they had a skid in church about that, it started with Jesus all excited to visit homes who were celebrating His Birthday but all He found was people celebrating without Him with no mention of His Name anywhere, some even getting drunk.
