How is the music genre "goat metal" defined?
I thought it was humorous at first...I kept finding bands with "goat" in their title. Judas Goat. Goat Molester. Goat the Head. And album titles with goats in the titles too. But it wasn't just a funny coincidence...turns out that "Goat Metal" is an actual genre. Sampling songs by artists that apparently to fit into the genre makes it obvious to me that this is a subgenre of death metal perhaps. But some "genre clarification" would be helpful to this metal fan. Thanks!
Great answers so far! How fun is this? Anyway, there's also something called "Bestial Metal" and it seems to be connected. Maybe in general I'm just getting into adjectives and slang and not a "real" genre.

It's not a genre of music. It might be a playful recurring theme, as a joke, but there is absolutely no way to define the sounds of "goat" metal.

That's a new one on me and I've been a metal fan for many,many years but not so much the death metal stuff so.....I would think that maybe it is something like death black metal or satanic metal maybe? if I would have to guess I would think it is a spin off of satanic death metal..?
