"Boyz N The Hood". This movie brought more truthfulness about what's going on in South Central than what "Baby Boy" actually did. The film's plot started with his childhood in the streets until he grew up and see what is real about the 'hood. The cast like Cuba Gooding, Jr., Laurence Fishburne and Ice Cube were brilliant by bring their realism to the film's characters. As for Cube, he even dropped one of the best lines he made in this movie. John Singleton really paid off for both of his films. "Baby Boy" is all right with me but to be honest, "Boyz N The Hood" is far off better.
