    *laughing* Fireball "is not thrilled".

Sounds a lot like "we are not amused".

Doesn't bother me in the least. They are exercising the same freedom you are.

A curious thing your question is, you've opened it up to all faith groups (nonatheists) and yet you say the atheists' view alone of Christianity is wrong- why do you care about the opinions of what Christianity has deemed "pagans" and damned? Surely the other faiths would tell you Christianity is wrong as well... interesting. It seems you are looking for a safe haven to throw rocks from perhaps?

I'm an atheist myself. I know very little about religion and would like to learn more. You give us the WRONG views on atheism though, i'm sure! For me religion only explains half the question. Then again, so does atheism...so I'm still looking for answers. Perhaps we do have uneducated views on Christianity, but would you be able to speak "correctly" and accurately about a religion that's not your own? If so I'll shut up. Give me a good reason to believe in God and I will probably be able to shoot it down; if not, then maybe you'll teach me something and i'll convert!:)

Christian only? I think Y&A has been a good platform for one to utter question and know what public thing about it. People can ask just about anything and get it answered. They might not get answered if they have to say it out to someone face to face. I guess, this is not for Atheist only, non Atheist also did this. Just like what you did.

I personally see them as people just like everyone else. I love all people, whether saved or lost. (Jesus did not just spend time with Jews or priests; He was kind to everyone.) The only difference between Christians and atheists is that we Christians have accepted God's free gift of salvation by grace through faith and they have not. Jesus Christ died for my sins and theirs; I have accepted this to be true and trust Christ to save me from hell that I may live in heaven one day.

I have the same opinions of atheists as I do with fellow pagans.

    They're people.

I have a very good friend who is very passionate about his atheistic beliefs, and believes that religion is the cause of conflict, which I disagree with.

Doesn't mean he's any less a very good friend.

well being an agnostic I would say I like the atheist on here they seem to have more logic then most of the people on here.

I try not to make sweeping generalizations. Overall, I think some of them are self-centered and tend to think of themselves more highly than anyone else. But, so do some Christians.

You missed the boat on the 'respect' thing. We don't do 'respect' anymore - it was a fake.

We despise each other's beliefs, as well we should. Pretending to value them in any way was rank hypocrisy.

I don't think about them much at all. The ones who are rude and obnoxious, I don't like anymore than I like rude and obnoxious people at all. The ones who are respectful are interesting to me since as illogical it is to them that I believe, it is illogical to me that they don't. I didn't even realize how many different kinds of atheism there is until I got on here. I enjoy discussing ideas with them since I know that I won't convince them to believe anymore than they will convince me not to.
