Highlighting hair... Should I also lighten my eyebrows?

Light hair looks more natural with lighter eyebrows. HOWEVER, I think I have the same hair color as you, but I have thin blonde eyebrows. It looks like I have none! I have light hair (white in some areas) and I have to pencil in my eyebrows because otherwise it looks silly. With the darker eyebrows my eyes pop (I also have super pale blue eyes).

In order to keep themselves from looking washed out, a lot of girls who go blonde leave their brows darker. Unless you have thick black eyebrows then don't worry about lightening them.

The idea is fine. I had my eyebrows lightened a little by my hairdresser when I had highlighted hair. I also had times when I got highlights and didn't have my eyebrows lightened. It really doesn't matter unless you have really thick dark eyebrows. As long as yours are groomed and not too dark you probably don't need to lighten them, but you can if you want to. It doesn't cost much and it doesn't hurt.

NO!!!! Never lighten your eyebrows! Darker eyebrows will look good no matter what your hair color! The dye could really irratate your skin, and just like the hair on your head, the roots will start to show eventually on your eyebrows as well, and you'll just have to keep coloring them. It will look just fine if you leave them alone! TRUST ME!!!!!

Well...I bleached my hair like around 16 also..and my eyebrows are naturally dark (black) So with you getting highlights that match your natural blonde hair I would suggest dying them and Ash color like so..

I would NOT highlight/color your eyebrows. If your hair is the natural color as you say it is already, then that means your eyebrows are too (since you've never done it). Since you are only adding to the already natural color, I would not do anything to your eyebrows. I've never done my eyebrows lighter (I have light hair myself) but I have done them darker...that was a HUGE mistake! They faded over time, but I wouldn't risk it, there's no sense!

i just recently lightned my eye brows myself. i have the same thing as you, dark eye brows with bleach blond hair. I did my eye brows myself, and they turned out good, i went a medium/ medium light eye brow color. It looks much much better! the only thing is is its hard to tell but you can see the difference when a couple days passes, you also need to keep up with plucking your eyebrows so they dont look bad, since they are 2 different colors.

Highlighting your eyebrows is extremely dangerous and can lead to you being permanently blind if it gets into your eyes.

Depending on the strength of what you are using, the results can vary in how hazardous it is.

usually dark eyebrows look fine on a blonde..it makes u look different

Depending on my feeling (and there are many, just such as my personalities) I feel that heading from black hair to blonde is like- BAM! in your face, notice me- here I am, is this particular not the greatest thing you have ever seen.
