Keep getting Best Answer E-mails!! Help!!?

I keep getting Best Answer E-mails from the same question!

I answered the question last night and when I woke up this morning I had 16 messages saying your answer was chosen a the best!

I thought the asker was trying to contact me but he doesn't have e-mail activated!!!

Any suggestions?

Yep same thing happening to me as well - So far 12 notifications of best answer to ONE question.

Yeah, I've gotten a notification of being chosen as the best answer every hour for almost 10 hours now, it's getting quite annoying.

I only got the 10 points once, so it's not like it's giving me points every time it sends me the things, which admittedly would be kind of a nice bug, heh.

But either way, it's just annoying. Dx

Please check the times on the e-mails. Is everyone receiving them, for each BA, at about 40 minute intervals?

That's what I came to the forum to report. I'm up to 7 best answer emails on 1 question so far. It was a "voted" best answer and not a "chosen" best answer if that helps the staff fix it at all.

I see many Y/A Members are having the same problem. I do hope this gets fixed soon. I do wonder if we will get notified, in the meantime, on any intervention to alleviate the email notifications. Heck, I'm tired, and probably making no sense. Take care.

I'm guessing that yahoo are just having problems at the moment. I have had 14 emails over the last 10 hours about the same best answer to a question I answered yesterday.

Sorry to break this to you but it's happening to LOTS of us and there is no way for us to opt out of getting those "best answer" notices!! You can't just change your preference. We're all just stuck with the junk emails.

It's Yahoo Answer's latest glitch. (They get so many here, it's pitiful.) It's happening to lots of us. I logged in today and had almost 100 of those best answer messages but, as I'm wading through them today, I find that a bunch are repeats of the 20 or so that I had last night!! Very annoying!!

But that's Yahoo for you, they are always having some sort of glitch or other. Welcome to yaHELL.

There has to be a glitch I just had 26 emails for 2 best answers. Yesterday I was not getting any emails for best answer and today they are going overboard. I am still getting them for the same best answer. Mark it up as another yahoo glitch maybe they will get it fixed soon. Good luck!!!

I haven't had that problem. I usually get about 2 to 5 of those a day, but I haven't gotten hundreds a day like a lot of people on here. I guess I was one of the lucky few.

I'm getting them too for the same question I answered - 16 so far, lol. It's not the person, it's a glitch in Yahoo Answers. I don't see anyone to contact at Yahoo, so if any of you know, please do so. They'll get it fixed as soon as they can. We'll be patient.
