Real thumb nail torn from nail bed by acrylic nail injury, nail hasn't come off yet, finger is swollen ?

    Ouch. Take some ibuprofen for the pain. It's going to take a while to return to normal. Keep it clean, try to avoid an infection.

    The finger is probably just swollen from the trauma, but you need to watch it very carefully - infections of the nail bed are particularly nasty.
