Wherever it has happened in the house should be fully deodorised. The cat will smell his own urine and then think it is ok to keep peeing there. The are products - sprays etc - that you can buy that will mask the smell and may prevent him from wanting to spray. You could also try the classic water gun, giving him a quick squirt whenever it happens. It will put him off spraying.

It would be best to get him neutered but even some neutered cats spray. Try talking to your vet about it.

Seriously, get him fixed. There is no answer to your question because there is NO way to stop him from spraying in the house. Unless keep him permanently outside. Sorry.

You should get him fixed immediately. Once they start to do it often, it's hard to make them stop even after you've gotten them fixed.

How old is your cat anyway? Usually they can learn how to spray from 6 mos old. The earliest you can get him neutered is best.

The only full proof thing to do is fix him. I've had many male cats and there isn't really a way besides that to stop him if he's already started to do it that I know of because he's marking his territory.

keep his litter box clean. and maybe lock him in a room with his litter box for a couple of days so that he'll know to spray in that.
