Is this a reasonable quote for wedding flowers?
My florist just sent me this quote for my October 2009 wedding. Both of my SIL's got married in San Francisco and they think this is a reasonable deal based on what they paid for flowers in the Bay Area. But, I am getting married in Arkansas and the typical wedding is MUCH less than in the Bay Area. So, I just wanted to see what people thought about this estimate.
1 bridal bouquet
5 bridesmaids’ bouquets
1 groom boutonnieres
7 groomsmen/other boutonnieres
2 corsages
10 center pieces
Grand total will be around $750.
Flowers included in the quote are ranunculus, chocolate cosmos, hypericum berries, red Asiatic lilies, pincushion protea, roses, spray mums, wheat, standard sunflowers, and mini red/orange sunflowers.
Thoughts? And please folks, refrain from giving thumbs downs, here. I am asking for people's honest opinions, so I don't want anyone to "veto" someone else's honest opinion! Thanks!

sounds like an outstanding price! for 1 bridal bouquet, 1 groom boutonniere, 3 groomsmen boutonniere, 2 other boutonnieres, 3 corsages, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 5 centerpieces, bar centerpieces, a crystal tree at the escort card table, and 4 small centerpieces at the other tables, my total cost is over $27,000!!! So it sounds like you're getting one heck of a deal. :)

That's a VERY reasonable amount. Especially with the variety and quantity you're getting, jump on that deal! My husbands cousin spent thousands on flowers and were in the middle of Egypt, Kansas.

I agree all of it count number on what proportion plant life and flower preparations you desire and additionally what styles of plant life. some greater unique plant life or plant life that are no longer in season would be greater costly. reckoning on how great and what style of plant life on your bouquet you could assume to spend $2 hundred-$500. you're waiting to get a kit that consists of the bridesmaids bouquets, plus your bouquet and the boutonnieres for the groomsmen and groom. you will additionally desire corsages for the mothers, and anybody who could be doing a examining or anybody else it is in contact. additionally boutonnieres would be needed for the fathers. in case you're having a ringbearer and flower lady you could no longer ignore them. it is advisable to contemplate getting a basket and making use of the silk petals for the flower lady. you will locate those at any craft shop. you're able to desire to cut back this down by using making use of single rose shows rather of incredibly bouquets for the bridesmaids or single shows for the mothers. If once you meet with the florist their fees seem too severe or they seem too pushy etc. Then do no longer sign something. Get the suggestions and seem around some greater in the previous you're making your decision. stable success!
