hey all. quick question. my boyfriend and i are looking to move to harrisburg because he will be going to law school at widener. any streets/areas to stay away from when looking for places to live? also any recommendations on good places to live?

I live about 60 miles north of Harrisburg. From what I hear, it is a nice area to live. The suburbs are not bad. I think it's like most cities .... some bad areas. The cost of living is reasonable compared to many cities on the East coast. It's a short drive from Hershey and Carlisle.

Avoid the city of Harrisburg, period. High crime and high taxes all over town. Look at places near Harrisburg. Look at places just across the river near Camp Hill or near Hershey or Elizabethtown.
