No water pressure in the cold tap?

When I try to run a bath, the cold tap starts off running normally and then slows down to a trickle. The cold taps in the rest of the house are fine. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

sounds like a cold water stem problem have a licensed plumber come out and repair or replace the tub valve

air lock maybe, turn on the tap that doesn't work until it goes to a trickle then turn on a tap that does work (leaving the first tap still on)... see if that gets it going.

had similar problem here, that fixed it... hope this helps

You have galvanized pipe and that pipe shrinks on the inside over time due to rust you need to replace the pipping and go copper or pex
