They always have this little box in the top right hand corner of the screen when they're about to go to a break. What's the purpose of it? Is it for Sky+ or whatever to stop recording?

My husband works for a company currently looking into redundancies. As part of that process, members of staff were invited to ask any questions that they felt needed answering about the process. One question involved why management weren't up for any potential redundancies, as one member of the team appeared to be under performing. The reply, by email, was 'Don't be an idiot'. Surely the management team have a responsibility to be professional? BTW, it wasn't my husbands question ;)

We're considering moving back to ireland, where my husband is from, with our two children (I'm english). How difficult is it to buy a house in ireland with regards to fees and red tape etc? Also, as I'm not an Irish citizen, would this affect my ability to work etc?

We were travelling in the car yesterday when my five year old son asked why things were going by the car faster on one side than the other. We had houses to one side, and open fields to the other. I know what he meant, that we seemed to be going faster past the houses than the field. It's obviously a perception thing, but I was wondering what it's called?

Apparently, a number of companies have complained about the new Benylin campaign, which tells you to take the day off work if you're ill. I love it! I'm sick of all those ad's that tell you to soldier on regardless. If I'm ill, I want to be able to stay at home without being made to feel guilty!!!

For me, it was the Jamie Bulger murder case. I was about 13. I think that it was the first time I really understood that the stories on the news involved real people. Before then, it all went over my head.
