How long should I boil a bantam chicken egg for?

I want to soft boil a pekin bantam egg (our first!) How many minutes should I boil it for?

    Depends HOW soft you like them. 2 and a half to three minutes, I'd say.

    Leslie T said exactly what I would have said. However, to answer your 3rd question, if the eggs are kept at room temp, I think they will remain viable for up to a week. Of course the sooner they are under a hen or in an incubator, the better. Good luck

    place in cold water and bring to boil, boil for 7 Min's .
