Can half-and-half be frozen?

I have a recipe that calls for 3 tablespoons of fat-free half and half. I don't generally use it otherwise, and obviously they don't sell it in such tiny quantities, so could I freeze the rest, either in the carton or in a tupperware container, and still have it be good when I next need it?

I stared your question yesterday hoping you would get an answer. I also have a small container of half and half that I don't want to do bad.

Tonight I'm going to make an alfredo sauce with the half and half I have left over and freeze that. Maybe you do not that as well so it doesn't go to waste.
