i have started a low carb diet, the only thing i see that i can eat is meat and cheeses HELP.?

is there anything else i can eat?

    fruit, vegetables. Then, good carbs: brown rice, baked potatoes (you should eat them only baked, and eat with skins, the skin is full of vitamin C, it has more of vitamin C than an orange). Bread, of any variety, you do not eat.

    Lentils, beans. Lentils with rice is the vegetable dish which provides you with a lot of protein - bodybuilders eat it to bulk up!

    You do not mix your carbs and your protrein. It's meat with vegetables, cheese with vegetables, baked potato with vegetables. You can mix rice and lentils, beans.

    I would suggest going to the Atkins site cause these people are crazy. When you first start you need to keep your cabs under 20 grams a day. You can eat meat, cheese, eggs, dairy products with no sugar and most veggies. No potatoes, corn or carrots. You cannot eat anything with sugar and fruit has sugar, because it has natural sugars you will be able to add some fruits to your diet later, but not at the beginning. You cannot eat soups with rice or noodles or cream soups. Just check your lables, everything has the carb amount on the label.

    low carb diets are bad u can eat meat cheese(all u want) you can eat salads without tomatos or carrots. i was on one for 4 months lost 60 pounds but when i got off it gained it all back plus it has to be more like a life style than a diet.

    no, she can't eat fruits and veg. they are carbs.

    you can eat egg whites, and fish. and dairy without added sugar.

    and thats it.

    carbs are better for losing weight. let me think. 2oz dry pasta (one serving) has 200 calories. The meat sauce, cheese, alfredo sauce, cream OR sour cream that you put on it probably has 500-700.

    What's worse? The carbs or the non-carbs?

    That's right.

    The non carbs.

    And what's the filling part? The carbs.

    Go to the Atkins website (search for it) and there are all kinds of menu and things you can eat on low carb diet

    I would suggest that you try fruits and Veggies. Salads etc.

    At the same time I would suggest determining your calorie needs to maintain weight, reduce intake and count your intake. This is a better method than removing a group and setting unrealistic long term goals.

    fruits and fats like sugar are low carbs. if you're trying not to binge, drink warm water, it sounds really gross but it fills you up and is 0 calories.

    Soup. you can eat as much soup as you want and it will go through you. Thats what they tell people when they have to lose weight to have surgery. So eat a good diet: grilled chicken, veggies, fruits. and anytime you feel you have to just eat, eat soup.

  • ANY VEGETABLES YOU WANT... AND FRUIT, but fruit in moderation because it has lots of natural sugars.. you can bake lowcarb with soy flower and splenda and you can eat nutz too but check labels before you buy..

  • low- carb is not the way to go.

    if you ate truly healthy, there would be no need for a diet and having to limit yourself.
