Should you eat before or after a workout?
I'll be doing some interval training today on the treadmill, but I was really hungry so had some toasted sandwiches for lunch. Can I go on the treadmill now, or should I wait?
( new to exercise and looking after my body)
now that i've had the food, how long should I wait? it's been 40 mins.
oh well, might just give it a crack see how i feel. ;)

eat after you exercise believe it or not. It helps burn calories faster because your metabolism is running faster. I learned it in Biology class.

1) to start, you should have 5-7 smaller meals a day.
2) you should have a big, hearty breakfast (for example, 2 eggs, a protein shake, and a bowl of healthy cereal with organic whole milk). THAT will help partly solve the hunger problem- and will help u lose weight too!
3) you should eat a normal sized meal 2 hours before, and you can have a small healthy snack (like a powerbar or naturevalley bar) an hour before.
4) if you somehow miss your meal and/or snack, this is easy to remedy- simply buy a gatorade (NEVER buy light or low-sugar, get the regular kind) and drink some, then slowly drink it thru ur workout. This should kill the hunger pangs cuz it has calories and sugar and electrolytes... and since its gatorade, it doesnt cause cramps hardly ever. dont ask me why- its magic!
5) The BEST thing to have 2 hours before is a normal sized meal and a protein shake!

LASTLY, ALWAYSSS EAT AFTER A WORKOUT! (eat about 20-25 minutes after)
Drink a protein shake, eat a powerbar, and have some other healthy food if you're still hungry. Protein shakes are most important!

you should only have something that has been digesting n your body already, preferably 3-4 hours ago. this way, your body will not be digesting food when you want to work out. if you eat a meal let's say an 1 hr before your workout, your body will be confused as to what you want it to do: do you want it to digest the food you've just eaten or workout? it is quite uncomfortable when you do this... but a small snack, like a banana and milk or a protein bar is okay if you're starving. oh and yes, you want to eat after you workout, within an hour. your body's metabolism will be super high, ready to burn those foods to repair torn muscle tissue from your workout.

Yes you should at least 2 1/2 hr before going working out so you will have energy all light nothing heavy

Exercising helped me to lose a lot of weight after I joined it along with using acai berry. Usually men and women quit their diets just before they see any substantial results and in nearly every single case it is simply because the diet is just poorly laid out, if you are one of this persons and you need to drop some weight

eat lightly before you exercise. if you dont, your body burns up the needed fat thats necessary to be healthy, instead of fat from food you just consumed. dont eat immediately after, but a little while later.

if your gonna work out; dont eat too much...a banana, apple, or celery is good.
try apples& peanut butter or celery&peanut butter
