So who really believes Michael Irvin "almost" got carjacked?

But he was spared because the guys recognized him, and were such big Dallas fans that they called him "Mike Irvin". Even Philly fans know he's Michael, not "Mike".

And I might have believed it if he had chased them off by having the hookers in his car throw bags of coke and crack pipes at them until they fled the scene.

Update:

Speedo - I just read an updated story, and it said no suspects have been identified or captured.

The spare (Chris Chase) that wrote this story is a hack. Check with DPD, they already picked the carjackers up, and his (Irvin's) story checked out.

I don't believe Michael Irvin's story. He is masking the real story to make him look more of a victim rather than a person that may have provoked road rage. A carjacker wouldn't be waving a gun from the passenger seat of another car to stop him. He would simply run up on the drivers side, point the gun at him, and demand he exit the vehicle. The element of the gun in your face is going to make you get out of the vehicle. From the passenger seat of another car, it would have been too easy to speed off. I believe it was likely he pissed someone off the road and they were either just trying to scare him or actually pull the trigger. The gunman wanted to stay in the vehicle to follow when Irvin proceeds through the roadway. Irvin likely didn't want to say he wsa an a$$hole on the road.

FYI, I have nothing against him and have a lot of respect for him when he gave his HOF speech when inducted.

Thumbs up to those who agree.

Actually, I believe his story. From what I understand his story checked out, witnesses were interviewed and collaborated his version.

The perpetrators were already picked up from what I heard on the news.

That was the funniest question I've heard in a long time...LOL. I really think Irvin made most of this (if not all) up, he needs to garner attention.
