Patrick Stewart as Dr. Freeze for Batman 3 (aka "The Caped Crusader")?
I have heard tons of rumors of who is going to be the villain for Batman 3 (Caped Crusader as it is sometimes called). Personally, I don't think you could do any better than Patrick Stewart as Dr. Freeze. When done properly Dr. Freezes story line is amazing.

Freeze's story line will need to be altered some, but so have the other villain's. Consider, a gun which sprays compressed liquid nitrogen as a freeze gun.
Depp would make a good Riddler, but Depp and Riddler are facing off later this year in "Public Enemies" its unusual for two big actors to face off in two unrelated movies, so I doubt Depp as Riddler will happen.
And I think Stewart would make a great Freeze. Freeze is a scientist whose story is surrounded in philosophical questions. Stewart has made his career playing philosophical scientists

Wow. That is a good idea though I have to wonder if they would use him given the whole Charles Xavier thing. He is still hooked up with Xmen. Plus he is rather old for such a demanding roll. I also might think of him more as egghead than Mr Freeze. Perhaps Joseph Fiennes might make a good Freeze when he is done with Harry Potter. Alan Rickman would also be good in the role. He does evil well. Worse come to worst they could also use Larry Drake. He has a melevolent tone to him.

Patrick Stewart is great, but not for this. Even the idea of Dr. Freeze doesn't work in the new version of Batman. It's too implausible for the type of realism they are going for in Batman. A freeze ray gun just doesn't cut it.
Actually, this sound better. Depp as Riddler and Jolie as Catwoman. Read the following dated recently.
