which is better? Twilight or Harry Potter?

Comparing Twilight to Harry Potter is silly. They are both completely different and opposite movies/books with completely different story lines/plots/characters etc?

It's like comparing the Simpson's to Family Guy. they are both different and it is impossible to choose.

I love both and for different reasons. They're different storylines and different kind of writing, if you wanna talk about the books (which I am...cuz the books are sooooooooo much better).

For some reason I can't seem to want to stop re-reading the Twilight Saga over and over and over again....I mean I re-read every Harry Potter book 2 or maybe 3 times, but it would take a while for me to pick it up again. If I don't stop re-reading Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse & Breaking Dawn, I'm gonna start quoting and just reciting the whole book series by heart and people are just gonna start thinking I'm nuts.

Twilight. Just a little more realistic than Harry Potter. I'm not saying there are vampires but... it's still better :]

story wise i like both

but Stephenie's writing is definitely better than J.K. Rowling's

twilight > Harry Potter

movie wise,

Harry Potter> Twilight

TWILIGHT! and i love harry potter so it has to be something good to beat that! how can you not love a film that has romance, vampires, suspense and one hell of a cast! harry potter is getting old now! the characters don't seem real to me in that film anymore- its taken way to long to go anywhere with it! where as the twilight vampires totally real you expect them to walk into a place near you any time! long live the Cullen's!!!!

HARRY POTTER ofcourse - the harry potter films and books are good but the twilight film doesnt even compare to how great the book is

Ohhhhh. Good Question. Personally I love Harry Potter. Twilight is similar to HP but yet so different. Twilight is more of a girls love story. Ew. I'd read both if i were you and see what you like best.

btw- i listen to mugglecast (www.mugglecast.com) which is really great. Incidentally they also produce a twilight podcast. It's really great!
