Is it safe to take the z pack( azithromyacin....antibiotic which I cant spell) and ambien the same day?
I have been taking ambien to help me sleep for a couple nights, and I was prescribed the z pack for strep throat by the e care. I forgot to mention I was taking ambien. Thanks!

I take Ambien and have taken this antibiotic on several occasions. My doctor knew I was taking both together. I do not think it will be a problem.

Call your doctor back and ask. It won't hurt to hold off for another day. I've taken the Z pack, but not with a sleeping pill...so can't really say.
