Besides all DOMA does is to allow states to not recognize same sex marriages from other states if they don't wish to. It doesn't in itself have any real bearing on Same Sex Marriage.

Obama believes homosexuals should be allowed to enter civil unions with all of the rights as marriage. His only probably may be actually calling it "marriage." Perhaps he'll do the wise thing and relegate marriage to the religious aspect, and legally recognize all marriages as civil unions.
