What does it mean when i cant hear below 2 kHz?

I there a specific part in my ear that has a problem? coz i cant hear anything below 2 Khz in my right ear. Plz someone help,

Update:

2000 hz = 2 khz

i think you will die if you hear 500 khz

    Actually Kay doesn;t know what she's talking about. The average person's hearing range is somewhere between 20 and 20,000 Hz That's 20 kHz.

    The frequency of sound basically determines it's tones and pitch meaning that you can't hear certain low pitched sounds.

    I suppose this could be due to continuous exposure to loud noises affecting your inner ear bones sensitivity.

    You really should ask a medical doctor.

    normal hearing is tested from 500 to 8000 kHz over a range of -10 to 150 decibels, no one can hear below 2kHz and that is why they do not even test that frequency... you are either reading your test results incorrectly, or you don't know what you are talking about at all.
