    No

    it is

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner.

    Greek Orthodox Prayer

Lord's Prayer is the Our Father( Pater Noster, Pater Hemon)

Yes the Lord's prayer is a prayer supposedly taught by Jesus in the Bible.

Man called it the Lords prayer. Jesus said to "pray in this manner" which means using the prayer he said as a guide to your prayer.

Prayer is talking to God and should not be repetitious.

    Nope...

This is a guideline of how to pray:

"Mat 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name..."

    This is Jesus' prayer:

"Mat 26:39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou [wilt]..."

    THE LORD'S PRAYER

Jesus the Lord gave a prayer for all to pray to the Father.

    John 17:1-26 as Jesus does

John 14:14-16,28, 16:23,26, now we pray to the Father in

    Jesus name

Matt.6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet,

and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which

is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward

thee openly. 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions,

as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for

their much speaking. 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them:

for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before

ye ask him. 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our

Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

6:10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it

is in heaven. 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.

6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from

evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,

    for ever. Amen.
