Armpit hair on guys vs.girls?

It's a cultural thing.

In the U.S., about 81% of females shave all that. In Europe, it's under or right around 50%. Who knows who thought it would be sexy to rip hair off of your legs, but it happened.

For the record, I met a girl who didn't shave at all, and I wasn't near as grossed out as I thought I would be.

Ideology and culture. It's an adaptation, and also personal preference. Some girls don't want to see any body hair on a man, and some either don't mind, or at least prefer some (although most don't want to date a gorilla lol). And there are even some guys (who would have thought?) that don't mind body hair on a woman. While it's true that some women don't shave at all, I don't think it's only isolated to one specific area of the world.

My how the times have changed ,our society is shedding hair like crazy a lot of my guy friends have gone from shaving their face to arms,chest,legs,heads and pubic areas.

In the early 80's you couldn't hardly get a girlfriend to shave that area.

They are the ones who started shaving...and we got spoiled over the generations. They shouldn't have started it...

Now the same goes with pubes...it ain't attractive to have a huge bush anymore (used to be something noone ever considered nasty)...one day someone decided to trim them and it looked better, and now we expect a trim.

What's next...

To the 1st answerer, I live in Europe and excuse me, I am not hairy.

People say that Europeans are hairy and dirty....that's a lie.

-Girls-Not feminine to have armpit or leg hair etc.

I think it's nasty on a guy, too. The legs don't bother as me much but I don't really enjoy looking at them. I know guys that shave their pits and some that shave their arms and legs, too. Welcome to the world of "metrosexuals".

why does every one say its only "our culture"(im asuming american?)

I don't know about everyone else I just don't like armpit hair or hair legs for myself.

idk but it feels good right after you shave your legs then put on some silky pj pants :)
