Could someone please give me a bible quote?

I have a relative that likes to thing she is in God's image. I have asked her not to send me emails about cancer or anything depressing since I have terminal cancer. Yet she loves to send me all sorts of depressing crap. Can someone supply me with a quote to get my point across to her? Thank you in advance!

I am truly overcome with some of the wonderful answers I have received. Thank you for taking your time and energy to answer me! Being alone so much, I forget how gracious people can be!

There was one person who gave me such a nasty answer, to that person, all I can say is "Wow, would you like to meet my relative?"

To all the rest of you, I say thank you so much, and to those of you that said you would prayer for me - thank you!

I am trying my best to fight this cancer, and people like you make my day so much easier.

    We ARE made in God's image, but I don't see how that means we are to send sad stuff to people with terminal cancer.

    I am very sorry to hear you are ill. I hope you may defy the word "terminal". I also hope you know Jesus as your Savior, as we will all be called home some day, unless He comes back first.

    Here are some verses that tell us to focus on the positives. It is Phillipians 4:4-8

    4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

    8Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

    You might try a letter that goes something like this...

    Dear Christian,

    God is as familiar with your ways as he is with mine (Psalm 139:3)

    We are both fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) in God's image (Genesis 1:27)

    God is not distant or angry with me, but he is the complete expression of love (1 John 4:16)

    It is his desire to lavish his love on me for no other reason than I am his child and he is my father (1 John 3:1) and he loves me with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3)

    God is my father who comforts me in all my troubles (2 Corinthians 1:3-4) and when I am broken hearted he is close to me (Psalm 34:18)

    God does not count my sins and he sent Jesus so we could be reconciled (2 Corinthians 5:18-19)

    I can do everything with his help, in his strength (Philippians 4:13)

    So thank you, dear Christian, for sending me all sorts of depressing crap, but I dont' need it, can't use it and I would be grateful if you would stop forthwith and leave me alone. If you want to help me please quit sending me emails about cancer and start praying for me. I shall be praying for you. Yours, etc.

    If nothing else, there's 1 Corinthians 15:33. "Be not deceived, for bad communications corrupt good manners."

    There's also Job 16:2 "Miserable comforters are ye all."

    You ought to just send her an email telling her exactly how you feel. This might be hard, but things are hard at times, and you need to do this for yourself, since no one knows how you feel but yourself. God's richest blessings be yours.

    If she's those religious freaks, she probably won 't stop sending u those emails. I'm sure she means well. But if it's too much for you, I would just enter her email in the spam folder so whenever she emails you, it'd go straight in there and you wouldn't even know she sent you something,

    Love Your Neighbor, Forgive Her so you are Forgiven, and ask her nicely not to send you those types of E-mails because they hurt you, if she is of God, she will stop.
