The display colors on my display are off? Hardware problem.?
A while back somebody kicked the back of my computer and ever since then the color on my display is off. what should be blue is more of a turquoise-green color and the red looks more pinkish.
The place where the monitor is plugged in on the back is somewhat loose. I have tried to wiggle it but that does no good or just makes it worse. I have tried multiple monitors and am positive it is a hardware issue with the computer
I have an HP Pavilion Slimline s3330f
What kind of damage could have possibly been done? What do I need to replace to get my color display correct once again?
Thanks for helping.

Check the card itself, open the computer remove the card and reseat the card, basically verify whether the connection is loose on the card or if the card has actually been loosened from the slot. There is a chance as well, that the slot itself might have been damaged, it which case you might try switching to a free slot(if there is one), or you might have damage to the motherboard. I would not buy a brand new card until I knew it was not a motherboard issue. slimline cards are limited and sometimes pricier. If you did not have a graphics card and the graphics were built in (meaning the vga or dvi slot was on the board itself), then a card will do the trick, if you have an open slot for one. Hope this helps

Your problem happen right after someone kicked the back of your PC ? Then it might be the cable. As you can see, the cable that connects your monitor and your PC is made of many tiny cables. If some of those tiny ones is cut then the signal from your PC to the monitor is not properly.
You should try changing a new cable and connect it to both your old monitor and an alternative one to determine if the problem is solved.
Good luck !

A new video card is likely needed to correct this issue. You say you've tried multiple monitors, and that the port on the video card is loose, and that would tend to indicate that something has been bent or broken on the video card itself.
You can find very reasonably priced replacement cards (just need to find out if you have an AGP, PCI, or PCI-express slot for the video card). Try NewEgg.com.
