Funny, they laid off on Bush 1's kids -- even though Dubya was busted many times for drunk driving in college - and arrested for cocaine possession; the records apparently "disappeared," which is not surprising when Daddy used to run the CIA. Dubya's little twins had a habit of appearing drunk in public, but if you read American media you never heard about that.

Such hypocrisy! When it was Sarah Palin's EIGHTEEN year old daughter, the Republicans all screamed if anyone said a word about Bristol's pregnancy. But since winning the election, you've declared open season on President Obama's 7 & 10 year old daughters who are in the spotlight but unlike Bristol they did not bring that upon themselves. Does, "Leave the kids alone" only apply to Palin's daughter? Mrs. Obama is making a wise choice. Good for her!

Tumornecrosis is right, you guys are a hypocrites. When everyone was talking about Bristol's pregnancy (which was very relevant considering she was pandering abstinence as the only acceptable form of sex ed) y'all were going crazy.

She just doesn't like how they are using her kids to make money. I can understand that but what is she going to do. There are pros and cons in having your husband be the president.

Her girls are so cute, so therefore they are gonna pursue them in all areas. They should pay them to be the models for the JCrew Catalog. Since the business skyrocketed after the inauguration.

most kids dont go all over the place in jets and helicopters and live in the white house and have parents who went to harvard and all that elite crap. i support obama but this talk about wanting a normal life for the kids is a bunch of public relations BS

What she really hasn't come to grips with is that she can't control everything in her life...although watch a while she'll try just like Hilary did as first lady.

Her children should be off limits. They are so young, and Michelle wants them to live as normal a life as they can. What a wonderful mother she is!
