edit an answer on yahoo?
is there a way i can edit an answer once i submit it??? for some odd reason i cant figure it out! haha help thankss!! :)
i tried goin back to a question and it did change my answer that i already sumbitted....
didnt^^ idk whats goin on.

When you look at the answer check the bottom of it. There, you can see when you answered the question. Next to it, you'll see "edit-delete" Just click edit, and you're good to go! Hope this helped

Yes, you can edit an answer. Not only can you add things to your original answer, you can backspace and delete the original wording and type something entirely different. Seems a bit one sided to me as the person who asked the question can only add details but once he/she submits their additions they cannot be deleted unless they delete the entire question. The person who answers is in full charge of editing.
PS. This edit is in answer to your follow up question and it is a question. When you edited, did you click the preview button. This allows you to look over what you added and then did you click the submit button. If you did that, the edit should happen.

Look down and will see SUBMIT AND EDIT click on Edit and it take you back so you can delete or change it.

Just go back to the question you answered, and under your answer.. there should be some buttons that say, edit and delete..

after you submit it there should be an option right next to your answer that says edit/delete.
