    Deep cycle batteries work better for high current draw applications (such as a stereo system). When you use them instead of standard car batteries, your system will be able to draw more amps without causing your batteries to die prematurely, protecting your equipment and giving you better performance.

    Deep cycles handle the constant drain/charge...drain/charge...associated with high power audio systems and they allow for more mounting options. I have had 4 red top Optimas mounted upside down under my truck for two years with no problems at all.

    deep current is good for like instant bumps, it wont damage the battery, get something like the Kinetik batteries, they are really good, and look real nice sitting next to your box with the big thick wires comin off of it lol
