okay well first theres the obvious...columbus. he u know discovered america and stuff and then u could right about slaves, and their labor. idk if it is that significant but they did contribute and their culture greatly influenced ours. In addition there are the various inventions of many, and if i were u, id even relate back to the u.s. when it was a colony. the decisions of napoleon and others like in the Louisiana purchase have contributed to how america is today...
i think u should outoline maybe all the obvious people and maybe ur teacher will like that ur working outside the box with the whole slaves contributed thing? l=)
