anyone make you feel bad about your occupation?

anyone ever get talked about or talked down to a lot? it seems that even in nice "professional" settings like hospitals someone is putting somebody's job down, like a doctor to a nurse, therapist to a assistant, or a nurse to a nurse aide. Am I the only one who has experienced this lately? by the way I am a secretary at the moment while in college and some of the staff here just kinda talk like : "well your just a secretary". which is mean! anybody else experience this, Is this common office behavior?

Unfortunately, some peoples' egos get in the way of their manners. Sorry you have experienced that.

There is nothing wrong with earning an honest living, whether you do this job long-term or just as you are going to college. I suggest you ignore the insults and realize that these people need attention more than you do. You have more self-respect than that!

Hillary Clinton is also "just a secretary". Anyway, ignore them, they're bad people.
