How is Obama's foreign policy any different from Bush's? ?
The Obama administration warned the US public yesterday to brace itself for an increase in American casualties as it prepares to step up the fight against al-Qaida and the Taliban in Afghanistan and the border regions of Pakistan.
Against a background of widespread protests in Pakistan and Afghanistan over US operations since Obama became president, the vice-president, Joe Biden, said yesterday that US forces would be engaged in many more operations as it takes the fight to its enemies in the region.
The Obama administration is to double the number of US troops in Afghanistan to 60,000 and when asked in a television interview if the US public should expect more American casualties, Biden said: "I hate to say it, but yes, I think there will be. There will be an uptick."
Its the same thing. Dont kid yourself.
You people are lapping it up. Just like you did for Bush. LOL. Turn off the TV.

In what way is Obama's foreign places coverage distinctive to Bush's? Are you kidding? Obama did no longer start up those wars! Obama has a schedule for pulling out of those wars! Do you think of you will get something any further useful with a President McCain? Bush needed 2 wars for ever and ever, it extremely is going to take sometime to end them, get actual and positioned the blame the place it is going! damn.

Obama said from the start that he wanted to do for real what Bush only played at. Taking out Bin Laden and dismantling the "Taliban/Al Quaida" connection. That means an increase in troops and fighting, which means increased casualties for a while. The difference is Obama will not order the troops elsewhere when he gets close to taking out Bin Laden and his organization, like Bush did every time we got close.

Man I am not sure, but probably gearing up to invade Iran. ON the other hand it yo are going to occupy, then do it. i actually thought yo were talking about the bombing in pakistan, which they didn't tell the government and under Bush they worked with them, which meant the bad guys might have gone.
just read where the Pakistan branch that attacked India were trained in Afgan before we hit them. Have a great 2009.

I think we wasted to much on Iraq.
17 permanent bases and an American Embassy
that is big as the Vatican and cost twice as much ??

Misinform the public about our activities in Iraq. Granted bush was worse, but Obama lied abouthis intent to completely pull out of Iraq.
Ignored Gates advice about how to handle Pakistan. Both attacked Pakistani targets with out consulting Pakistan.
BOth support NAFTA.

He is focusing on the areas with actual terror threats. Afghanistan-Al Quaida headcorders and Pakistan-Al Quaida support and Nucs. Whereas Iraq was purely for oil! I'm not sure though even with those facts if doubling the troops and force in those regions are a good thing...

It is easy to put more troops into Afghanistan, if there are 0 in Iraq. Giving Afghanistan the attention it needs makes sense. America knows better than any other country the price of having a failed totalitarian theocratic Afghanistan.

The Bush administration attacked a foreign country that had no obvious connection to terrorist activities. The Obama Administration is directly targeting concentrations of al-qaeda combatants in afghanistan and pakistan.

Maybe this has something to do with why Ron Paul received the most donations from active military
