    No, for the following reasons:

    1) I like his personality.

    2) He proposed to improve the overall situation "yes we can change".

    3) He is very influential, "The president of the United States", where failing means having several catastrophic on the global scale.

    4) He is the first African American, It would not be good to be a failure when written in history.

    5) I don't like to see others failing.

    6) He has inspired and motivated people and it would not be good to see him failing after that.

Of course not! The whole world rejoiced with hope when he was elected (BTW, I am Australian). I don't think it is within his personality to create such a farce as what Bush did.

Even though Obama may not succeed in all his lofty aims, I am sure his efforts will be an improvement upon the current system. With the closing of Guantanamo Bay detention center, he's already done one good thing. I am so glad to see him already undoing Bush's damaging and unethically capitalistic reforms. Of course I want him to succeed. I have faith that he will. I pray for him, too.

I guess that many do, but I don't. I didn't even wish failure on Bush or any other President that I couldn't stand. I mean, I do live here. I actually did wish that they would all do the right thing to benefit the country and its citizens. Didn't hate Bush either. I disliked him a lot, but not the super strong emotion called hate. People have been seriously hating Obama even before he became the President. Its just crazy.

Are you testing us on our grammar, or didn't you realize your question actually asks us if we want Obama to intentionally be a failure? (meaning, he would fail on purpose)

In any case, I certainly do not want Obama to fail. We're all in this together. Someone who wishes for our highest elected official is as bad a person as someone who commits outright treason.

We are in a crucial period. What happens in the next year or so could easily affect us for the next 40 years. Under these conditions, do I want Obama to fail? That's like asking if I want the U.S. economy to collapse so that I'm left penniless.

Obama was not my choice (neither was McCain, I will admit), but we must support our President. His job is hard enough as it is.

i imagine all persons might want to like to work out Obama succeed, notwithstanding the way he's going about it isn't fulfillment: those he's assigned in place of work equals failure because of their questionable backgrounds. final Gitmo and attempting terrorists in a courtroom of regulation, is failure. Obama is an criminal professional and knows of ways our judicial gadget works. even as operating as a criminal Case Coordinator for the criminal courtroom, I witnessed extra circumstances than no longer the flaw in our judicial gadget. many circumstances I stated the most vile in society, whom Prosecutor's had what recognized an open and close case in evidence and there develop into little question in any ones thoughts they were responsible, yet because of an outstanding criminal professional that knew each and each and every of the loopholes they went loose. those adult adult males who were accused of Terrorism were despatched to a detention middle (Gitmo) off of U.S. soil for a reason. i'm keen to guess there develop into user-friendly evidence those adult adult males are terrorists. Our authorities knew that in the adventure that they went to courtroom an outstanding criminal professional (ACLU scum) might want to get them off on a minor technicality to pass and terrorize back. Abortion in Africa equals a lot less funds for the U.S. His economic coverage equals failure. it is been tried in the previous. His well being care coverage factors in course of authorities rule. i might want to like to again our President, yet can't understanding each and each and every of the harm he's implementing.

If our president fails, our country fails.

That's why I do not want him to fail.

Our country has been in the crapper for years thanks to George Bush.

Whether he fails or not is irrelevant. The country is too big and powerful to "fail." In time, his solutions will be viewed in one way or the another. Only time will tell

No. Why would anyone want him to fail when there is so much at stake?
