Unique Wedding Cake Topper?

I went to a wedding recently where the cake topper looked like the groom's guitar broken in half into the cake.....the thing is the grooms friends had been teasing him that his rock band days are over.....so he was very suprised....from a distance it looked real...but it was styrofoam and icing. The key is to make it personal....whether its whimsical like the guitar or more traditional......whats your personality as a couple? you adventurous? conservative? western? modern? express yourself... lol cake bakers can do amazing things these days.... beyond that you wont need much for a cake topper----

My boyfriend asked me out before the drop on the Jurassic Park ride at Universal Studios so we always joke about having a dinosaur wedding cake toppers lol. We probably won't go for that, but I don't see a problem with having a small dino cake at our rehearsal dinner :)

Are there any characters you guys like, or a specific Disney movie that you can get figures from- like Beauty and the Beast etc? There's some really cute Demdaco Willow Tree figurines that have a man and woman with a baby, but I don't know whether or not that a cake would support them. You could go by a Christian book store to check. The only other thing that I can think of would be to find a similar sculpture that isn't necessarily a cake topper. I looked in several places on the web and couldn't find what you're looking for.

Find something special that relates to an activity to both of you enjoy. It's personal and cute.

You could put a classic Barbie and Ken doll on top. It would be so classy and so beautiful! you could dress them in an elegant ball-gown and an old fashion tux. you could give Barbie real diamond earrings! You should consider this magnificent idea. It would make your wedding cake pretty as can be!!!! It would be like a fairy tale.

I had our initials. I had my initial with purple crystals because my birthstone is amethyst. I had his initial in opal because it's his birthstone. Then the big initial of our last name, I had the two colors.

There may not be an option on the form to do it this way, but I contacted the owner and she was more than happy to do it for me and it turned out great and we still have them on display in our house.

well depends on any hobbies , or funny things the bride and groom have in common. you gotta give me more info. One suggestion might be if you all like bowling for example i would have the bride and groom in bowling shirts and pants, and instead of the bride holding flowers hse can be holding a bowling ball
