Collie Found - question deleted?
Does anyone know what happened to the "Collie found, obedience trained", in the Croydon area, question. Has anyone got the text to that question?
I contacted a couple of Collie clubs about this dog, but now the possibility of locating an owner can't go forward because (possibly) some Troll has reported the question...
If the originator of the question can send me the text, I can forward the details on.
To: Fur and Fiction.
This site might be worldwide but this is the uk.answers site, Croydon, last time I looked, is in the UK! The original "question" and this one, is highly pertinant to both the UK and to the Dogs section.

Thank you, I posted the original message about the Collie. My first post was deleted and I got a violation notice. Then I posted again to say that I had a violation notice and that I was gobsmacked and I got a second violation notice.
It is pointless posting any more info on this because it will get deleted again and I will get a third violation notice. Yahoo limits the amount of info that I can send, consequently if you need more info I need your other email details. Look at "My Profile" and send me a private email. It would be wonderful if this dog can be reunited with it's mam.

Yahoo will not post questions they feel are inappropriate for the section. Perhaps this was one of those questions- this is especially true if you have more links than text or don't type correct. Your best bet would be to try posting again.
Keep in mind- I really seriously doubt any of us is missing a Collie. This website is worldwide. Your target audience would be wherever the "Croydon" area is. Have you tried Craigslist? Be sure the owner that approaches you can identify specific markings on the dog or present proof of ownership.
Your best bet would be handing the dog over to a rescue or shelter.

The dog in question is on lostdogs.co.uk.
She was found 5 weeks ago.
She is in the care of a very well known Border Collie rescue and every dog club in the UK knows about her being found.
I guess her owner does not want to be found for whatever reason and she is going up for adoption soon. She has lots of interest from working homes.
