Mild exercise is good for you all the time. If you're trying to burn calories and lose weight, 30 minutes of intense exercise a day is necessary.

I love yoga, but don't always break a sweat. However, for calorie burning you need to do cardio and get your heart rate up to your target range (and keep it there a while)...when you do that you'll break a sweat unless you have a medical problem that prevents you perspiring.
