I owe another school can i still go to a different college?
So I owe another school. I see that they may need my transcripts in order to not take the math, science, etc classes. I owe my other college some money. If I'm paying cash for this colllege will that effect me getting admitted?
Let's say I don't pay the other school at this time, could I still go to college especially if i'm not using loans? THey have deferred payment plans..
Or if my other school offeres me a payment plan which i think i received a letter about it yesterday, could i make payments and do you think they will release my transcripts?
I am going to a meeting today, but i wanted some opinions or others whom may experienced the same if not similar.
In this case I owe the school and I owe loans. But being i owe the actual school they may or WILL hold my transcripts.

Unpaid bills have a way of following us around. Try to workout a payment plan with the school and try to pay the least minimum amount you can.

The problem is that most schools won't accept you for admission without a transcript from your previous school. Since you owe that school, they may not release your transcript. You need to call the transcript office and find out what it will take to get them to release your transcript. Probably you just need to make a payment arrangement and pay the first payment to get them to release the transcript.
