What brands shoud I look for in a beginner Clarinet?

My daughter is starting clarinet lessons next semester at school and I am looking at buying v/s renting. What brands should I look for and which should I steer away from? She is musically inclined (plays piano and has played the violin) but I would like to start with a beginner model and then move up in the future if necessary.

Also, what price range should I be looking at? I think it will cost around $30-$40 a month to rent so figure buying will be better long term.

Thanks for your help.

    Hi

You can check out Armstrong, Buffet-Crampon are very good etc..

This is a very personal choice and not like a guitar or piano sort of. Here is a good link that will help you immensely to make up your mind.
