try to eat less dense foods, like foods that have more water in it. think soup versus chowder, or oranges versus bananas. and drink more water.

try to eat healthy natural (organic if you can) foods. avoid things like margarine and diet soda. avoid hydrogenated oils (in most junk food).

also avoid milk or egg powders.

don't worry too much about fat. i've come to the conclusion that the whole saturated fat thing was some kind of weird joke or conspiracy. me and my friends decided to just say eff it and eat desserts, bacon, butter, or whatever whenever we crave it. and ever since we've upped the fat intake, we've lost a whole bunch of weight even though we're barely doing any exercise. i've lost 10 pounds so far and i only exercised once or twice a week walking for 15 minutes. after i stopped walking, i stayed at the same weight even though i kept on eating all these fatty foods.

As I am sure you know already, cut down on all fatty foods, drink 8 glasses of water per day, eat 5 fruit/veg per day and choose low fat options.

You could try joining a club such as weight watchers as this will give you lots of diet plans and help you to stay motivated.

    Exercise :

You should 'exercise' for a full twenty minutes at a time, five days per week to stay at a healthy weight.

Remember, don't over-do it and certainly don't try to lose weight too quickly. The more quickly you do it, the more quickly you put it back on. Also, it's not good for you to just 'suddenly' start exercising vigorously. Do it slowly and that way you will be able to keep it up and not put the weight back on.

The best exercise for burning calories is cardio-aerobic. Jogging, cycling, power-walking, swimming, aerobic dancing or general aerobic workouts. However, strength-training is also important to increase muscle-fat ratio.

Exercise does burn calories but it takes a while to lose 1 pound of weight! However, exercise is essential to maintain weight loss and maintain your body at peak efficiency.

Start out slowly by cutting back on sugar and junk before trying to go on a diet. Just keep it simple by drinking plenty of water and whole grain food. After dieting for a little while, you should then try running to get rid of any further amount of fat.

Eating right and doing exercises that raise your heart rate. Lay off of so many carbs. You need SOME, but you should avoid eating all junk food, avoid eating too much breads and such. Lots of veggies and water will help! ^_^
