Have you had a gastric bypass?

Tell me about your experience, I just had mine 2 months ago.

I had Gastric Bypass surgery in Oct 2007. I have lost 150 pounds and only need to lose another 30 to be at my goal. I wore a 26 when I had my surgery and now fit very nicely into a size 10. I even dropped a shoe size and grew 2 inches in height!! I've had ZERO complication. NONE. I've dumped one time since my surgery and once was enough. I still eat 1 cup portions and stay around 900 calories a day. I walk 5 miles a day and do strength training 3 times a week.

I would do it again in a heartbeat....People are so negative about the surgery and they have no idea what they are talking about half the time.

Congrats and good luck on your weight loss journey!

You should really watch out. My mom works for a hospital line down here and there are numerous cases from where the doctor did something wrong in surgery causing many complications

and if you watch the biggest loser, you'll see the dad on the brown team gained over 100 pounds even with that surgery done
