Christians - Is your Bible like your cell phone to you?
Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat Our cell phone?
What if we made sure we had it wherever we go?
What if we flipped through it several time a day?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we used it in case of emergency?
Oh, and one more thing.
Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being
disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill.

I'm Roman Catholic. I keep a Bible next to my computer, and another one next to my bed. I read them frequently. When I travel, I bring my own Bible because most hotels have only the King James Version, which is missing several parts of the Bible. I don't always have one with me in the car or every other place, though, not on short trips.
I also have a copy of The Catechism of The Catholic Church that I keep near my bed, and sometimes near my computer.
I think your question is amazing. I suspect I really have often been guilty of regarding my cell phone as more essential to be at my side than my Bible.
I think if I upgraded my plan for the Bible I'd be a better person and more useful to others.
Peace be with you.

Sometimes I think that I treat the cell phone and the Bible about the same. I don't use them like I should. I keep them both closed more than I should and I feel really bad about it.

I rarely leave home without a copy of the Bible, and when I do, I've lost count of the times I've returned for it. I'd definitely pick it over the cell.

That is a clever analogy.
For me though, my cell phone is sadly neglected.
In fact my ring-tone is, IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD by REM because for me to get a call means just that.

i'm guessing you have not at all visited the Bible Belt. They do have a Bible of their truck, one in each of their handbag, one at artwork, one at homestead, you get the belief right here. EDIT: truly? I lived in Texas final 365 days, i found that folk stashed them everywhere they'd extra healthy.

I like it but I smell a chain letter. Quick forward this to 10 people if you love Jesus after all Christians belong to ALTEL (or TELLALL)

You mean it's old, outdated, having a cracked screen and I use it to pelt stray dogs?
Nope, my bible deserves a much better function.
