Rules for beer? Rules for beer?

Do you have any rules for beer?

Silly?

Real?

Just for fun rules?

    Enjoy the beer I drink.

Always educate those that do not know about beer.

    In no specific order.

    - if you're drinking beer with buddies, always wait until everyone is ready and perform a toast (even if it's simply "Cheers"!)

    - It is just a no-no to fling the bottle cap at your significant other's head, no matter how funny you think it would be in front of your buds.

    - However it is ok to fling the bottle cap at your buddie's head if he's acting like a shmuck.

    - Educate those about beer whenever possible.

    - If you can, always try and drink beer out of a glass, if you can't then drink out of the bottle, cans aren't the best method to enjoy beer but work in a pinch.

    - It's ok to pour a beer and get a bit of frothy foam (aka head), it helps aerate the beer. (Contrary to popular belief)

    - When beer sampling (i.e. trying more than one different beer), you should cleanse the palette with water that has no ice. Otherwise you may not appreciate all the notes of the beer.

    - Always ask the server in a brewpub what beer they suggest. If they dont' drink beer then shake your head at them with a lot of Tsk, Tsks and say "Tragic, just tragic."

    - If you can, talk about beer with the brewmaster. They love to tell you about their craft.

    - Never spill beer. If you spill it on the table, you may be obligated to lap it up off the table. Note: Only perform this in situations where you're with your buddies and no women are around because the ladies tend to frown on this.

    - Beer makes for a good shampoo, NOT a conditioner!

    - Avoid having a rigourous workout at the gym 3 hrs after having good beer.

    - Avoid domestic beers if you can (aka "The overmarketed 'Sports' beers"), Microbrew is the best for the masses.

    - When tasting good beer, make sure you smell it first, it makes a HUGE difference in the tasting.

-Beer needs to be kept from cool to cold (unless there are specific serving temperatures).

    Cheers!

Everyone has different rules, you will always have that. But, the way we play is based on where we are. "House rules" the host of the party, whosever house your at makes the rules. But the basics are you throw balls & try to get them in cups. Anything additional is based on who's house it is. Some rules I've heard of are the heating up, on fire rule. Island rule, when one cup is all on its own, like an island you call island & if you make the shot two cups get removed. Each team member can only call it once. Then there is the nipple rule, I've heard two different versions of this rule, one would be when the cups are lined up to look like boobs, four in the back, 2 in front & b4 you shoot you call nipple & if you make the "nipple" cup the other team flashes you. The other nipple rule is where the front cup is nipple cup, idk why but basically, same rules as island. Can only call it once per game. 2 cups removed if its called and made. Uhm, some others rules. Bounce is two cups. If you can get the ball to roll back to you on the table you get another shot, left handed or behind the back. If one person on a team makes the last cup the other team gets a rebutal, but if both make it its game over, & if someone makes the last cup & their partner hasn't shot yet they can choose to roll the ball to the other team, only giving them one shot for rebutal or they can choose to shoot & give the other team two opportunities to make it. That's all I can really think of right now. But, best bet is to establish what the rules are b4 the game starts that way there aren't any aruguments over the rules. Soo annoying. But, hope I was helpful:)

Never spill or waste beer. If you open a beer you have to finish it.
